Multiple Intelligence #1
STUDENTS:
Tell jokes, riddles or puns, read, write, or tell stories, and use cooperative groups.
TEACHERS:
Create reading and writing projects.

Multiple Intelligence #2
STUDENTS:
Work with numbers, figure things out, ask questions, and use cooperative groups.
TEACHERS:
Construct Venn Diagrams, use games of strategy, and have students record information on graphs.

Multiple Intelligence #3
STUDENTS:
Doodle, paint, draw, or create three-dimensional representations, and look at maps.
TEACHERS:
Draw maps/mazes, lead visualization activities, and have students design clothing/building.

Multiple Intelligence #4
STUDENTS:
Listen/play music, match feelings to music and rhythms, sing, and hum.
TEACHERS:
Re-write song lyrics, encourage adding music to projects, teach history through music, and
teach music/dancing from other countries.

Multiple Intelligence #5
STUDENTS:
Play sports and be physically active, use body language, and dance/act/mime.
TEACHERS:
Offer role playing/acting opportunities, involve students in physical activity, and use sewing.

Multiple Intelligence #6
STUDENTS:
Spend time outdoors, observe plants, collect rocks, try to catch animals, and classify flora/fauna.
TEACHERS:
Use the outdoors as a classroom and conduct hands-on science experiments.

STUDENTS:
Control own feelings/moods, set individual agenda, and use metacognitive.
TEACHERS:
Allow students to work at their own
pace, assign individual, self- directed projects, help students set goals, and allow student to student feedback.

Multiple Intelligence #8
STUDENTS:
Lead, share, meditate, build consensus and empathize with others, work as an effective team member.
TEACHERS:
Use cooperative learning, offer peer teaching, and help to brainstorm solutions to problems.
